Hampton is the county seat and has been a community since 1864, providing a progressive business environment, fantastic shopping, and unlimited recreational activities. Local special events include: Farmers Market, Franklin County Fair, Tuesdays on the Town, Summerfest, Sourdough Days and Historical tours..
